The Creative Resource Manager at Fuseideas ensures that the agency:

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Team Planning

  • Work with ECD, Creative and Digital Services and Project Managers to assess talent needs and execute resourcing decisions on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Work with Project Managers to identify resource needs and proactively schedule and assign creative and digital resources.
  • Take an active interest in the projects, clients and work created at Fuseideas and utilize the internal talent best suited with project scopes.
  • Develop relationships with Creative and Digital Services team members, learning how to best utilize their skill sets and keep them fully utilized.
  • Work with ECD and Digital Services to build on a pre-existing network of contacts and assist in vetting all creative and digital needs for the agency. Freelance sourcing & procurement as needed.
  • Maintain constant knowledge of current or upcoming projects and business development.
  • Ensure teams are fully utilized and that conflicts are resolved or escalated by monitoring day-to-day project activities and resourcing.

Managing & Coordinating

  • Initiate & lead weekly one-on-one resource meetings with Project Manages, Client Services and Creative/Digital team members.
  • Manage resourcing forecasts for Creative and Digital Services based on input from weekly meetings.
  • Provide and maintain agency resource status, liaising with appropriate parties to provide accurate updates of resource needs.
  • Ongoing management/updating of resourcing matrix doc.
  • Manage & facilitate micro and new business projects.

 Financial & Administrative

  • Preparing documentation and paperwork for all talent and freelance hires, acting as point person with IT & finance.
  • Work with project managers to ensure proper billing and invoicing.
  • Schedule onboarding meetings/one-on-ones with freelancers and relevant teams throughout the agency.
  • Organize creative department meetings.
  • Partner with HR to escalate any information related to retention/employee relations.
     

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-5 year's experience in the resourcing or project management discipline, within the advertising industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing integrated creative and interactive (particularly web/mobile/video/graphic design development) initiatives.
